The power of Recording

Taking notes and reviewing them to enhance productivity can be enjoyable. I'll explore how I can elevate my skills by documenting various aspects of my life.

As part of my daily routine, I spend 30 minutes reviewing past texts of "practical business English." It's been about a week since I started, and I've managed to memorize most of the words and expressions that appeared in a month's worth of texts.

The key is to turn the memorized expressions into my active vocabulary. If I can use these expressions in my daily life, that would be great. As the situations where I can use them increase, my motivation to memorize them also goes up.

There should be few occasions to use memorized expressions directly in daily life. Therefore, it becomes necessary to devise methods, such as constructing conversations by applying learned expressions in "soliloquy English conversations," for example.

However, memorizing expressions itself is a relatively monotonous task, and there are times when I think, "I don't feel like doing it this morning." I tackle this by establishing rules and carrying it out steadily. It seems like I need to approach it as a mechanical task.
