<Faith>

  • Repetition of affirmation of orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of the faith.
  • Faith is the eternal elixir which gives life, power and action to the impulse of thought.
  • Self-Confidence Formula (p.36)
    • I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.
    • I will concentrate my mind for 30 minutes daily, upon the task of thinking the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear mental picture.

<Specialized Knowledge>

  • 4 resources of knowledge; (i) one’s own experience and education, (ii) experience and education available through cooperation of others (Master Mind Alliance), (iii) public libraries (through books and periodicals) and (iv) special training courses.
  • It becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plan and directed to a definite end.
  • Specialized knowledge, plus imagination, were the ingredients that went into this unique and successful business.
  • Outlook from the bottom is not so bright or encouraging. It has a tendency to kill of ambition.
  • Capability means imagination, one quality needed to combine specialized knowledge with ideas, in the form of organized plans designed to yield riches.

<Imagination >

  • Man’s only limitation, within reason, lies in this development and use of his imagination.
  • Synthetic imagination and creative imagination.
  • “I had been thinking, but I had done nothing but think.“
  • Why didn’t you reach that decision a long time ago? The money was waiting for you all the time.
  • If you are one of those who believe that hard work and honesty, alone, will bring riches, perish the thought.

<Organized Planning>

  • You must have plans. See that those plans are checked, and approved by the members of your “Master Mind.”

  • The world is full of opportunities, but capitalistic system cannot promise something for nothing.

<Decision>

  • Those who talk too much do little else. “Deeds, and not words, that what count most.”
  • If you talk more than listen, you not only deprive yourself of many opportunities to accumulate useful knowledge, but also disclose your plans and purposes to people who will take great delight in defeating you, because they envy you.
  • Thought, backed by strong desire, has a tendency to transmute itself into its physical equivalent.
  • Definiteness of decision always requires courage, sometimes very great courage.

<Persistence>

  • If one doesn’t possess persistence, one does not achieve noteworthy success in any calling.
  • Fear of criticism, failure to create plans and to put them into action, because of what other people will think, do, say.
  • Persistence is a result of habit.
  • 4 steps lead to the habit of persistence. (i) Purpose backed by clear desire, (ii) organized plan, (iii) a mind against negative influences and (iv) a friendly alliance who encourages you to follow through your plan and purpose.

  • Subconscious mind understand best the language of emotion or feeling; desire, faith, love, sex, enthusiasm, romance, hope.
  • Negative emotions; fear, jealousy, hatred, revenge, greed, superstition, anger.
  • Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time.
  • The presence of a single negative in your conscious mind is sufficient to destroy all chances of constructive aid from your subconscious mind.

<The Six Sense>

  • Brand of knowledge which leads to understanding—understanding of sell, understanding of others, understanding of the laws of nature, recognition and understanding of happiness. This sort of understanding comes only through familiarity with, and the use of the principle of the six sense.
  • Come back here a month later to feel something impressive!
